Jess your words so often speak to me, and make me realize how good I am at feeling alone and visible and not even realizing it. I fool myself. And hope to fool others. Then I realize that I know myself, a depth of me where precious perfection exists and just don’t want to play the surface games. Flicker follows me wherever I put up my bird feeders and hang my hat.
